We divide CNC machining of precision parts into the following 4 steps:


First, face first and then hole


For parts such as shells, brackets and connecting rods, the parallel surfaces should be CNC machined first and then CNC machined holes should be produced. In this way, the production and processing holes can be precisely positioned on the parallel planes, the positional precision of the parallel planes and the holes can be ensured, and the production and processing of the holes on the parallel planes can be facilitated.


2. First CNC machining the datum surface


During the production process of the parts, the outer surface that serves as the precise positioning reference should be processed by CNC first, which is convenient and better to provide a precise reference for the production and processing of the subsequent steps. It's called "benchmark first".


3. Finish CNC machining


The cnc processing of the main outer surface finish (such as grinding and polishing, honing, fine grinding\rolling production and processing, etc.) should be carried out at the end of the processing process planning. The outer surface roughness after production and processing is above Ra0.9um, slightly less The impact will damage the outer surface, generally need to use velvet cloth to carry out protective measures, must not directly contact the product workpiece with the hand or other items, in order to prevent the outer surface of the finishing production and processing, from being damaged due to transportation and assembly between steps.


Fourth, distinguish the production and processing links


The outer surfaces of precision parts CNC machining products with high quality standards are divided into production and processing links, which can usually be divided into roughing, semi-finishing and finishing. It is mainly to ensure the quality of production and processing products; it is beneficial to the rational use of machinery and equipment; it is convenient to arrange the heat treatment process steps reasonably; and it is convenient to detect the defects of the rough embryo as soon as possible.
